Traveling Hive is dedicated to helping people of all ages reignite that human-nature connection.

Impact
Our educational workshops, held in NY, California, and Alabama, have been able to reach hundreds of people per year, covering topics such as native bee ecology, gardening to attract pollinators, field sketching and mural painting, and sustainable ideas in urban beekeeping.

Traveling Hive believes that art transcends barriers to learning and connection.
We are dedicated to an art-based approach to all of our workshops, incorporating dance, drawing, painting and music.

Pollinators suffer a disconnect from habitat and forage. With the help of Xerces Society, we’ve been able to coordinate the distribution of 550 native plants to 20 gardens across Brooklyn and Queens. This creates habitat and strengthens nutrition for New York’s native and managed pollinators.
